In many of the articles I have written, the research itself has been fun and enlightening. I did not know much about the origins of the American tomahawk until I brushed up for the Columbia River Knife & Tool Kangee review. On my companion site, ThinBlueFlorida.com, I reviewed the SOG Fasthawk some time back. Back then, my writing was all my own product and not subject to outside editorial influences (contractual). For the SOG Fasthawk piece, I did not research the ‘hawk historically.

When I wrote the CRKT Kangee review, I got down and dirty and attempted to accurately summarize the tomahawk’s lengthy and interesting backstory. I also put the T-Hawk through some torturous testing. I really like the Kangee.
